Integra has launched a new podcast, Upstream by Integra. Episode 1 features Dawn Melley of IEEE in a candid conversation on connected workflows, responsible AI, and the realities of serving a global research community, including how the IEEE Publishing Portal and deeper ecosystem collaboration are supporting editors, reviewers, and authors at scale.

Integra received both Gold and Silver honors at the 2026 SSP EPIC Awards, recognizing work at the intersection of DEIA, technology, and editorial workflows. The wins spotlight WInGS: Women at Integra: Growth and Success, and EditorialPilot, Integra’s AI-powered editorial platform helping journals strengthen research integrity, streamline triage, and make more informed decisions at scale.

Integra will present EditorialPilot at the SSP Innovation Showcase, a virtual event spotlighting breakthrough tools and emerging technologies shaping scholarly publishing. Kayalvizhi Kumara, GM – Product Delivery at Integra, will demonstrate how EditorialPilot supports integrity‑first, data‑driven editorial decisions at scale. The session takes place on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM ET.

Integra is participating in the ISMTE North America Virtual Event, July 22–24, 2026, showcasing two award-winning platforms: EditorialPilot in the Innovation Showcase, and ContentPilot, Integra’s publishing operations control tower, in a dedicated solution session. If you’re attending, we’d love to connect and demonstrate how these solutions support end-to-end scholarly publishing workflows.

Integra and Silverchair have partnered to integrate EditorialPilot directly into ScholarOne Manuscripts, bringing AI-powered technical, language, and research integrity checks into the submission workflow. Automated screening at the point of submission helps editorial teams triage faster, reduce manual workload, and strengthen confidence in manuscript quality before peer review.

In the latest Beyond the Page, Ritesh Misri shares how Integra manages large, complex publishing accounts through operational discipline and long-term partnership. Drawing on more than two decades in publishing, he reflects on building trust at scale, aligning cross-functional teams, and growing accounts by understanding where customers are headed, not just fulfilling today’s tasks.

Publishers at SSP 2026 are increasingly combining human judgment with better data and tools, moving research integrity and AI considerations earlier into editorial workflows to reduce risk and improve trust. Integra’s latest blog shares key takeaways on stewardship, author experience, and the evolving role of societies.
