A Conversation with Kavitha Jayashankar, Vice President – Human Resources
International Women’s Day 2026 Special
At Integra, inclusion is not a seasonal theme. It is a sustained commitment, reflected in how we hire, lead, innovate, and grow.
As we celebrate International Women’s Day 2026, this edition of Beyond the Page reflects on a defining year for Integra’s culture. Over the past several months, the organization has earned the 2026 Great Place To Work® Certification for the second consecutive year, been recognized among India’s Best Workplaces in IT & IT-BPM 2025, and been named one of India’s Best Workplaces for Women 2025.
Together, these recognitions affirm a simple truth: culture is not declared, it is experienced.
With women representing 54% of Integra’s global workforce and 25% of leadership roles, inclusion at Integra is measurable, intentional, and evolving. We spoke with Kavitha Jayashankar, Vice President – Human Resources, about what these milestones mean and how inclusion continues to shape the future of work at Integra.
Recognition as Responsibility
Q: Integra has been recognized among India’s Best Workplaces for Women 2025, earned the 2026 Great Place To Work® Certification again, and been named among India’s Best Workplaces in IT & IT-BPM 2025. What do these recognitions signify at this stage of the organization’s journey?
Kavitha:
Each of these recognitions represents validation from our people.
Being named among India’s Best Workplaces for Women 2025 is especially meaningful. Women form more than half of our global workforce. This recognition affirms that we are creating pathways not only for participation but also for leadership and long-term growth.
Earning the Great Place To Work® Certification for the second consecutive year reinforces that our culture of trust is consistent. It is not a one-year achievement. It reflects daily experiences of fairness, collaboration, and purpose.
Recognition among India’s Best Workplaces in IT & IT-BPM 2025 highlights something equally important. As technology reshapes industries, building a high-trust, innovation-driven culture becomes essential. Our people are the reason we are able to adapt, transform, and lead responsibly in an AI-enabled world.
These honors belong to every Integrite. They also remind us that recognition brings responsibility: to continue listening, evolving, and improving.
WInGS 2.0 – Sustaining Momentum
Q: On International Women’s Day, how do you see WInGS shaping Integra’s culture today?
Kavitha:
WInGS (Women at Integra: Growth and Success) was launched in 2008 with a clear purpose: to create an environment where women could grow, succeed, and lead with confidence.
Over time, it evolved beyond a program. It became part of our identity.
With WInGS 2.0 – Where Inclusivity Takes Flight, we strengthened our focus on leadership development, mentorship, structured skill-building, and allyship. Inclusion requires participation from everyone, not just women. Encouraging men to be active allies has been central to this evolution.
Today, WInGS 2.0 supports women across career stages, from early-career professionals to senior leaders. It ensures that opportunity is not incidental but intentional.
International Women’s Day is an important reminder. However, our commitment to equity continues every day of the year.
ConneXions 2025 and the Future of Work
A few months ago, Integra marked its 31st Foundation Day through ConneXions 2025, themed around AI and Innovation.
Q: Looking back, what did that milestone represent?
Kavitha:
ConneXions 2025 symbolized both continuity and change.
From our beginnings in 1994 to becoming a global organization of over 2,800 professionals, our journey has been guided by innovation and integrity. The AI and Innovation theme acknowledged the rapid technological shifts we are navigating.
What stood out most was our reaffirmation that technology must enhance human potential. Innovation without inclusion is incomplete.
In the months since ConneXions, that philosophy continues to guide us. We are integrating AI thoughtfully while investing equally in leadership development, learning, and equitable growth.
Panchsheela – Values in Action
During ConneXions, Integra reaffirmed its Panchsheela values:
• Customer Centricity
• Care for All
• Innovation
• Excellence
• Collaboration
Q: How do these values shape leadership today?
Kavitha:
Our Panchsheela provides clarity in complexity.
• Customer Centricity keeps us purpose-driven.
• Care for All anchors our inclusion and sustainability commitments.
• Innovation ensures adaptability.
• Excellence maintains our integrity and standards.
• Collaboration reinforces collective success.
In a fast-evolving digital landscape, values are stabilizing forces. They help ensure that growth remains ethical, inclusive, and people-centered.
Inclusion as Strategic Advantage
Recognition by Great Place To Work® is grounded in employee experience data. Research shows that employees at Certified workplaces are significantly more likely to look forward to coming to work and feel treated fairly in terms of recognition and career growth.
At Integra, inclusion is not viewed as a support initiative. It is a strategic advantage.
Diverse perspectives drive better innovation. Trust fuels experimentation. Psychological safety enables creativity.
As AI accelerates workflows, human judgment, empathy, and collaboration become even more valuable. Inclusion ensures those qualities thrive.
A Message for International Women’s Day 2026
Q: What message would you like to share this International Women’s Day?
Kavitha:
Inclusion must be practiced daily.
Mentor someone. Advocate for fairness. Encourage diverse perspectives in meetings. Create space for new voices.
Women have played a pivotal role in shaping Integra’s growth story. However, true equity requires sustained commitment from everyone.
As we continue our journey into a more digital and AI-enabled future, let us ensure that progress remains human-centered.
Closing Reflections
Integra’s recognitions over the past year:
• 2026 Great Place To Work® Certification (second consecutive year)
• India’s Best Workplaces in IT & IT-BPM 2025
• India’s Best Workplaces for Women 2025
These are not endpoints. They are milestones in a continuing journey.
With 54% women in the global workforce, growing leadership representation, and structured empowerment programs like WInGS 2.0, Integra’s culture reflects deliberate action, not aspiration.
This International Women’s Day, the message is clear:
Innovation builds capability.
Inclusion builds strength.
Together, they build the future.
“At Integra, inclusion is not just a value, it is a lived experience. Our culture thrives because our people do.”
