Integra has been recognized with two honors at the 2026 Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) EPIC Awards, presented on May 28 during SSP’s 48th Annual Meeting in Chula Vista, California.

Integra received:

  • Gold Award in the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Initiatives category for Women at Integra: Growth and Success (WInGS)
  • Silver Award in the Author Tools Feature category for EditorialPilot

The SSP EPIC Awards celebrate excellence and innovation across scholarly publishing, recognizing initiatives, technologies, and programs that advance scholarly communication and strengthen the global research ecosystem.

Gold Award: WInGS (Women at Integra: Growth and Success)

Integra’s WInGS initiative was recognized in the DEIA Initiatives category for its enduring commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace and creating equitable opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, and career advancement.

Established in 2008, WInGS has evolved from a focused program supporting women employees into a broader framework that promotes inclusion, mentorship, skill development, leadership readiness, and career progression. Through initiatives such as WInGS 2.0 and WInGSMEN, the program continues to strengthen allyship, workplace inclusion, and opportunities for employees across diverse backgrounds.

Silver Award: EditorialPilot

EditorialPilot was recognized in the Author Tools Feature category for helping authors improve manuscript readiness through AI-powered technical, language, compliance, and research integrity assessments.

The platform performs more than 100 automated checks and provides structured, actionable guidance before submission, enabling authors to identify and address potential issues early in the publishing process. By improving submission quality and supporting stronger research integrity practices, EditorialPilot helps publishers streamline editorial workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

“Returning from SSP this year with these recognitions is both gratifying and meaningful,” said Sriram Subramanya, Managing Director of Integra. “For more than three decades, our work has been shaped by close collaboration with publishers, editors, societies, technology partners, and research communication leaders. EditorialPilot reflects our commitment to addressing practical challenges facing scholarly publishing through thoughtful innovation. WInGS reflects our belief that long-term success depends equally on creating opportunities for people to grow, contribute, and lead. One award recognizes what we are building for the industry; the other recognizes the culture we continue to build within Integra. We are grateful to SSP, our customers, partners, and Team Integra for the trust and support that make this work possible.”

Together, these recognitions reflect two core pillars of Integra’s mission: advancing scholarly publishing through technology-driven innovation and fostering an inclusive workplace where people can thrive, contribute, and succeed.
