April 16, 2025 – Chennai, India – Integra, a global leader in digital content transformation, is proud to announce it has become an Ally of the Publishing Accessibility Action Group (PAAG) by signing the PAAG Charter for Accessible Publishing. This commitment reinforces Integra’s dedication to fostering inclusivity and accessibility across the publishing ecosystem.
The PAAG Charter brings together publishers and organizations throughout the book supply chain in a collective mission to make publishing more accessible to people with print disabilities. As a signatory to the Charter, Integra commits to supporting the initiative’s core principle that “people who cannot access print should have the same access to books and publications as people who can.”
“Digital accessibility transcends mere compliance—it’s about ensuring equitable access to information for everyone,” said Lakshmanan Thirumoorthy, Deputy General Manager – Production at Integra. “As a Benetech-certified vendor, we bring proven methodologies and best practices to every project. Our microsite equips organizations with the expertise and tools needed to implement accessibility at scale while significantly enhancing the user experience.”
Integra’s Accessibility Microsite serves as a comprehensive resource, offering tailored solutions such as accessibility audits, remediation services, and AI-powered alt-text generation. These services are designed to help publishers and organizations meet global accessibility standards, including WCAG, ADA, Section 508, and EN 301549.
“As part of our core vision, accessibility is not just a feature—it is a fundamental right. We believe that every piece of published content should be usable by every individual, regardless of ability,” said Sriram Subramanya, Founder and Managing Director at Integra. “Becoming a PAAG Charter Ally reflects our deep-rooted commitment to building a more inclusive publishing ecosystem through innovation, empathy, and shared responsibility.”
By joining the PAAG Charter initiative, Integra aligns with other signatories who commit to taking meaningful actions to improve publishing accessibility, including appointing accessibility champions, publishing accessibility statements, and working collectively toward the goal that all published content should be born accessible.
