Atul brings deep experience in scaling operations, leading transformation, and driving cross-functional excellence in large global teams. His leadership will play a key role as we continue to grow and deliver integrated solutions across content, education, and publishing.

On November 24, we hosted a live panel titled Research Integrity in Action: Finding the Right Balance in Editorial Decision-Making. The live session asked: What will research integrity look like by 2030?
Leaders from Frontiers, SAGE Publishing, the American Chemical Society, and Springer Nature joined Integra to explore how human judgment and AI can work together to uphold ethical publishing standards. Insights & Ideas

Judith Rob, AVP – Content Services, offers an insider look at how publishers can stay competitive in one of the world’s most complex markets.

Our new whitepaper introduces a fresh approach to AI-integrated assessment design that doesn’t sacrifice human-centered learning. Perfect for education teams rethinking their strategy.

Forget the buzzwords, this Science Editor piece “Ethics and AI in Scholarly Publishing: A First-Principles Approach” takes a first-principles approach to designing AI systems that support, not undermine, editorial judgment. A timely read for anyone working with (or worried about) AI in peer review.

In The Scholarly Kitchen, Integra’s article “A Systems Approach to Research Publishing: From Fragmentation to Cohesion” explores how publishers can move beyond isolated fixes and adopt a more holistic, systems thinking approach. The piece emphasizes the need for cross-ecosystem collaboration, among publishers, platforms, and researchers, to build workflows that scale with trust, not just speed.
Editor’s Corner: Notes from the Editor

In this issue’s comic strip, Meera faces a quiet breakdown in peer review, a reviewer who’s blocking progress rather than building it. The Gatekeeper is a reminder that the peer review process isn’t just about catching flaws, it’s about opening doors for better research.
Service Spotlight

From textbooks to training programs, managing image rights and text permissions can slow down even the most efficient content teams. At Integra, we’ve built a more structured, scalable way to handle it, so publishers can stay focused on publishing, not paperwork. Whether you’re producing courseware, journals, or books, this approach helps simplify compliance without slowing your team down.
