The London Book Fair 2025 (LBF25) has come to a close, and what an incredible event it was for Integra! From insightful panel discussions to engaging conversations with global publishers, LBF25 proved to be a pivotal moment for us as we highlighted how AI is transforming the publishing industry while reinforcing research integrity.

High Energy and High Engagement at Booth 3B71

The atmosphere at Booth 3B71 was electric throughout the event. Our team, Sriram Subramanya (Founder, MD and CEO), Adhvaith Sriram (Director), Bart Loevens (VP, Business Development), Suresh Kumar N P (VP, Publishing Solutions), and Ritesh Misri (VP, Key Accounts Management) had the pleasure of engaging with a diverse range of publishers and industry professionals.

Our conversations with several stakeholders revealed that the impact of AI was taking center stage in publishing, as publishers actively explored solutions to safeguard authorship and ensure content integrity across print and digital formats.

Publishers were particularly interested in:

  • Research Integrity – Strategies to uphold credibility and combat misconduct
  • Editorial Services for Journals – Streamlining workflows from submission to publication
  • End-to-End Services – Comprehensive solutions from manuscript screening to final publication
  • AI-Based Solutions – Tools for automated copyediting, indexing, and language polishing
  • Accessibility – AI-driven alt-text generation and backlist remediation
  • Open Access & Sustainability – Expanding access while maintaining financial viability

Standing-Room-Only at the Research Integrity Panel

A key highlight of Integra’s presence at LBF25 was the expert panel discussion, “Safeguarding Research Integrity: Leveraging AI to Combat Content Manipulation and Enhance Credibility,” held at the Tech Theatre on 11th March. It was a full house as industry leaders gathered to explore the role of AI in upholding ethical standards and ensuring the credibility of scholarly content.

Panelists included:

  • Stewart Gardiner – Global Production Director Journals, Taylor & Francis Group
  • Bart Loevens – VP, Business Development, Integra
  • Suresh Kumar N P – VP, Publishing Solutions, Integra

The panel discussion centered around:

  • The growing impact of AI on research credibility and the risks for publishers
  • Strategies to counter AI-driven content manipulation
  • How AI-powered tools can detect misconduct and reinforce research integrity
  • The importance of AI in supporting, not replacing, human editorial oversight

AI-Driven Solutions: Blending Technology with Human Expertise

At Booth 3B71, our team demonstrated Integra’s hybrid approach to publishing solutions—combining AI automation with human expertise to enhance operational efficiency and maintain content integrity. Visitors explored how our flagship solutions, including AuthorPilot, are helping publishers improve editorial efficiency, reduce costs, and safeguard research integrity.

Reflecting on Integra’s strong presence at LBF25, Sriram Subramanya, Founder, MD & CEO of Integra, shared: “Publishing is evolving, and we are at the forefront of key innovations, supporting our customers and partners as they navigate this transformation.”

“Integra is committed to offering AI solutions that not only drive efficiency but also strengthen trust and credibility in research publishing,” said Adhvaith Sriram, Director at Integra.

Beyond Business: The Value of In-Person Engagement

While LBF25 was packed with industry insights and AI-driven innovations, it also reinforced the importance of face-to-face interactions in an increasingly digital world. From reconnecting with long-standing customers to forging new relationships, the event was a reminder of how in-person engagement fosters collaboration, trust, and meaningful conversations.

The buzz of the exhibition floor, the energy of impromptu discussions over coffee, and the sheer diversity of publishers and content on display made LBF25 was indeed a celebration of the publishing industry.

Looking Ahead

As AI continues to reshape the publishing landscape, Integra remains at the forefront of innovation—offering scalable, AI-enabled solutions that empower publishers to maintain high editorial standards and adapt to the evolving needs of the industry.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by Booth 3B71, attended our panel, and engaged with our team. We’re excited about the future of AI in publishing and look forward to continuing these conversations throughout the year.
