Taylor & Francis Expands Partnership with Integra to Strengthen Manuscript Quality and Editorial Efficiency
18 May 2026
Pondicherry, India
Taylor & Francis, a leading global academic publisher, has renewed and expanded its partnership with Integra, a global provider of publishing and editorial solutions, to deliver Language Assessment and Digital Editing services across its journal portfolio, including Dove journals.
Building on a longstanding collaboration, the expanded partnership extends the use of Integra’s AI-powered platform, EditorialPilot, to further enhance manuscript quality and streamline editorial workflows.
BACKGROUND
As global manuscript submission volumes continue to rise, maintaining consistent language quality presents a persistent challenge in scholarly publishing. Variability in clarity and structure can affect reviewer comprehension, increase editorial workload, and create barriers for authors—particularly those for whom English is not a first language.
This expanded partnership addresses these challenges at the point of submission, enabling earlier and more consistent quality assessment before manuscripts progress through the editorial pipeline.
ABOUT EDITORIALPILOT
EditorialPilot evaluates manuscripts at an early stage, applying more than 100 automated checks across language quality, technical parameters, research integrity, and key metadata. Each submission receives a reproducible quality score through a combination of AI-driven assessment tools. Thresholds are configurable across journal portfolios to align with specific editorial standards.
PERSPECTIVES
“EditorialPilot provides editorial teams with a reliable, data-driven view of manuscript quality across language, technical, and integrity dimensions—not just grammar and style. As submission volumes grow, consistent early-stage screening becomes critical to maintaining both quality and efficiency. Our work with Taylor & Francis is rooted in a shared commitment to research integrity, author experience, and operational consistency.”
Bart Loevens, Vice President, Business Development – Europe, Integra
“Taylor & Francis has been a valued long-term partner, and we are pleased to expand this collaboration in support of their editorial teams. Publishers today need scalable, consistent approaches to manuscript assessment. Through EditorialPilot, we combine AI-powered screening with deep publishing expertise to help editorial teams make faster, more informed decisions—while upholding quality, integrity, and a strong author experience.”
